Erreur avec biber

Bonjour à tous,

alors que tout marchait, biber s’interrompt sans lire le fichier .bib et j’obtiens :

Bonjour,

voici un essai, pas véritablement un ECM, mais un fichier très court.

et le .pdf après le premier passage

et le fichier .bib

J’utilise la texlive 2026 et jusqu’à ce matin, tout marchait…

Pour être précis, j’ai eu ce message d’erreur :

ERROR: Package xkeyval Error: Giveninits' undefined in families blx@opt@pre’.

J’ai « commenté » la ligne Giveninits=true dans les arguments de biblatex, mais cela ne règle pas le problème.

Je vais faire un essai avec la texlive 2025 ou faire une mise à jour de la texlive 2026.

Re-bonjour,

j’ai retrouvé une « formule magique » que l’on m’avait conseillé sur cette (merveilleuse) liste :

rm -rf biber —cache

et tout est rentré dans l’ordre !

Pourquoi ? Mystère, mais le remède fait son effet !
